Junior Auditor
Quazar is looking for a highly motivated person to join our Auditing Department within the group.

The successful candidate will be actively involved in the day-to-day requirements within the department.
​
The duties of the Employee shall include but shall not be limited to, the following:

Assisting in the planning and execution of statutory audits under the supervision of audit seniors

Perform audit procedures, including verifying the accuracy of financial statements and identifying areas of audit risk

Reviewing transactions, documents, records, reports and methods for accuracy and completeness
-
Preparing adequate audit working papers in a timely manner
-
Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and other reports as required
-
Liaising with external advisors as needed
-
Assisting in the preparation of tax computations and tax returns for clients, ensuring compliance with local tax laws and regulations
-
Meeting work plan specifications and deadlines.

Performing other duties as may be assigned.

Able to work within a team and with other departments in the company.
Requirements:
-
Applicants must be in the professional/ final stages of ACCA or in possession of a university degree in accounting
-
Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a similar role
-
Proven ability to quickly learn new information, processes, and procedures whilst deliver quality work under pressure and in a timely manner

An analytical mind with problem solving approach

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-
Proficient with MS office applications, especially Excel
-
The ability to work on own initiative, prioritise own work and meet deadlines whilst also to work collaboratively in a team environment

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
